CONFIRMATION

"The Gift of the Holy Spirit has been bestowed upon the Church and upon each one of us so that we may live lives of genuine faith and active charity…that we may sow the seeds of reconciliation and peace. The gift of the Holy Spirit renews the earth."

- Pope Francis

Confirmation is all about the gift of the Holy Spirit to empower each of us to hear and follow God's voice and to receive special sacramental grace to live out our faith throughout our whole life with all its challenges, tests, and opportunities. It is much more than a rite of passage; it is an invitation and equipping for life-long faith in Christ.

Confirmation at St Mark’s is normally received in 8th grade, but each year we have a few older students too. All are welcome!
