MINISTRIES AND PARISH LIFE
The Church of St. Mark is more than a house of worship: it is a parish in the fullest sense, a community of believers rooted in Catholic culture and connected to our neighborhood. Our ministries reflect our Parish's commitment to worship, serve others, learn, have fun, and live in fellowship--all as one strong family united in Christ.
Below are some of the active ministries at St. Mark's: follow the links to learn how you can get involved.
Council of Catholic Women
All women of the Parish are invited to participate in the CCW. In addition to spiritually rewarding (and fun!) regular meetings, the CCW hosts some the Parish's favorite annual events, including Mornings of Reflection and the famous CCW Spring and Fall Rummage Sales!
Human Dignity Committee
The St. Mark's Human Dignity Committee is devoted to serving those most in need: the hungry, the homeless, the marginalized, and the unborn. This ministry hosts initiatives like 40 Days for Life, Project Home, Loaves & Fishes, and more.
Ignite Youth Ministries
IGNITE Youth Ministry at the Church of Saint Mark is a collection of young hearts on fire for Christ! Join the fun and get to know Jesus and your peers in a deeper way. Separate programs for grade school and high school students.
Moms' Group
Join other moms, working or stay-at-home, with kids womb to 18 years old for fellowship, socialization, and opportunities to grow in our Faith. Regular activities include Pray 'n' Plays, Nights Out, and Mornings and the Park. This ministry also organizes meal trains for new parents and parishioners in need.
St. Mark's Young Adults
"Iron sharpens iron . . . ." Saint Mark's Young Adult Group provides a place to gather with your peers to grow in faith, love, and devotion to a life in Christ. Activities include weekly small group meetings, trivia nights, happy hours, and regular retreats.
Team Drogo
Named for St. Drogo, who is revered in some circles as the patron of coffee, Team Drogo is St. Mark's "doughnut-shaped" hospitality ministry. If you have a fondness for fellowship (or caffeine), consider signing up to help host coffee and doughnuts following our Sunday morning Masses.
