ABOUT OUR FAMILY

Located in the Merriam Park neighborhood in beautiful Saint Paul, Minnesota, the Church of Saint Mark is celebrating life in Christ and fellowship with one another ---and has been since 1889.

We live out our mission, to live and share Christ's call to holiness, through our five core values: the centrality of sacramental life, our unity as a parish family, our reverence to the Catholic Tradition, our commitment to formation and evangelization, and our efforts toward leading active lives of service.

Be a part of something big. Be a part of one strong family

Wherever you are in life, you'll find a home here, in the Catholic Church. We will walk with you and your family as you prepare for Baptism or Confirmation through our Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) program. Jesus' arms are always open, and so are ours!

WHAT IS PES?

Since 2009, Saint Mark's has been generously and faithfully served by the priests, brothers, and sisters of Pro Ecclesia Sancta ("For the Holy Church"), a Peruvian religious order whose key focus is "the vocation to holiness and perfection, in order to contribute to the renewal, strengthening, and expansion of the Catholic Church so that Christ may reign." For nearly a decade, the men and women of Pro Ecclesia Sancta and its lay association, the Catholic Advance Movement, have played a critical role in making the Church of Saint Mark the unique, strong, and spirit-filled parish that it is.
