Family Faith Formation meets Wednesdays from 6:15 - 7:30 PM. Please email Sr. Maddie if you have any questions or would like your family to be a part of the Faith Formation program this coming year.
All are invited to our kick-off event, which will be on September 6th, 2023 from 6:00-8:00pm at the School Playground. Pre- registration is now open for the 2023-2024 Faith Formation program year. PARENTS AS PRIMARY EDUCATORS
In the Faith Formation program at the Church of St. Mark we strive to foster a love for Jesus Christ and to deepen the knowledge of the faith in the families of the parish. Our aim is to bring the faith alive in the hearts of the parents and children and to teach them about their call to holiness in their daily lives. Parents will receive formation as well and tools to help them respond to their call to be the primary educators of the faith to their children.
FAMILY FAITH FORMATION
Our program serves families with children in Kindergarten through 8th grade. We provide formation for all members of the family. We prepare students for the reception of the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Communion, and Confirmation. Knowledge of the faith, prayer and a personal relationship with Jesus are key aspects to the formation of the children. We seek to build a sense of community among the families involved. We welcome all families whether they are in catholic schools, public schools or homeschooling.
For the children in grades K - 7, including preparation for the reception of the First Sacraments for 2nd graders, we use the program called Family Formation developed right here in the Twin Cities and has seen abundant fruit among parishes across the country.
Our 8th grade Confirmation students cover a variety of key topics of the faith, which prepare them to live the faith. We seek to prepare them both intellectual and spiritually for the reception of this important sacrament.

IGNITE YOUTH MINISTRIES
The mission of IGNITE Youth Ministries is to light the fire of faith in middle and high schoolers, help them have a deeper relationship with the Church and give them the necessary formation, tools and community to embrace the Catholic Identity and walk with Christ each and every day!
