To sign up for Family Faith Formation (by August 12), head here.
The following is from an email Fr. David sent out 2025 Jul 22 re: proposing a substantial format change for Family Faith Formation going forward.
"Hello again Family Faith Formation parents and greetings from Detroit.
I am just at the halfway point of my program here, and eager to be back with you all soon,
though hoping to make good use of this time while away. Briefly:
It has been suggested that, building on the occasional (year-ending) potluck at some of our FFF gatherings in the past, to build out our monthly FFF meetings by always having them start with a potluck meal beforehand.
This would mean starting earlier so as to avoid going later. It could look like this:
5:30pm gather for meal (attendance at the potluck would not necessarily be mandatory)
6:15 commence the evening, break out into age-specific tracks like usual
7:00 return for announcements and prayer, per usual
The hoped-for benefits would be primarily for the purposes of community building and convenience (on the assumption that it is easier to prepare something at home and bring all to eat at the parish than it is to eat at home and then get everyone to the parish in time for FFF).
I am open to the suggestion but want to check with all of you. To that end, please respond to a short survey (won't take 5 minutes of your time) before the end of the month. Thank you, your input is essential!
