There's a pilgrimage for the whole parish to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe (La Crosse, WI; ~2.75 hours from St. Paul)! And there's a plenary indulgence available for attendees!
Mode of Transport: Carpools and personal vehicles; meet at St. Mark’s at 7 am to depart if carpooling. Schedule: 10:30 am - Arrival/ Restrooms & Welcome 10:45 am - Uphill/ Votive Chapel Guided tour 11:15 am - Church Guided tour 11:45 am - Confessions 12:15 pm - Mass (Con: Fr. Humberto) 1:30 pm - Personal Lunch (Picnic) 2:00 pm - Gift Shop/ Bookstore 3:00 pm - Departure or Farm Cookout at Sweet Ridge Farm Optional: Tour and cookout at Sweet Ridge Farm (W692 St. Road 33, Rockland WI, 54653, 20 minutes from the Shrine). Pigs, baby chickens, chance to pick fresh sugar snap peas and asparagus on a small, organic vegetable farm, parents to a St. Mark’s parishioner.
