St. Mark’s now permitting parishioner facility rentals for private events on an experimental— and limited—basis.
Aside from a few notable exceptions, St. Mark’s rental policies have, until recently, not allowed parishioners to rent parish spaces for private events due to the administrative work these would generate. Thanks to Gina Brennan’s presence on staff as Administrative Assistant, St. Mark’s will begin accommodating these requests for select purposes, starting January 1, 2025 on a trial basis. Rentals will be limited to events hosted by registered parishioners related to the celebration of a sacrament (baptisms, weddings) or a life milestone (birthdays, anniversaries, retirements). Parish leadership feels it is important that parish spaces be available for such celebrations for parishioners, despite the complications they may entail, and that these will enrich our campus and the life of the parish.
