Consoler and Advocate of the poor, come enkindle our hearts!
Helper and Teacher of the weak, come enkindle our hearts!
Spirit of wisdom and understanding, come enkindle our hearts!
Spirit of counsel and might, come enkindle our hearts!
Spirit of knowledge and fear of the Lord, come enkindle our hearts!
Spirit of prophecy and revelation, come enkindle our hearts!
Giver of love and joy, come enkindle our hearts!
Giver of peace and patience, come enkindle our hearts!
Giver of kindness and goodness, come enkindle our hearts!
Giver of gentleness and self-control, come enkindle our hearts!
Sanctifier and Anointing from above, come enkindle our hearts!
Heavenly Father, grant that Your Divine Son would send forth His Spirit to overshadow us with Your power, to penetrate and possess us with Your love, and to strengthen and support us in our weakness, that we might always do what is pleasing to You and witness to Christ with our lives.
We ask this through the same Christ, our Lord. Amen.
