Encampment Ministry (Advent)

THE ENCAMPMENT MINISTRY OF RELATIONSHIP:

A group of Catholics are building relationships with residents of an encampment in St. Paul along with other homeless individuals in the area through sharing a weekly Saturday breakfast with them and offering helpful supplies. Organized by a St. Mark parishioner, this effort started in mid-June and continues through the winter. Below is a list of items we are collecting over the course of Advent to support this ministry.


Donations may be placed in the labeled bin in the vestibule! Please do so by December 24th!

Items for donation drive: Warm stuff: hot hands, warm socks, coats, sweaters, hoodies, hats, gloves, mittens, boots—mainly men’s but some women’s. blankets, sleeping bags Hygiene stuff: deodorant, body wash, Chapstick, shampoo, lotion, mainly men’s but some women’s) toothbrushes, toothpastes Undergarments: regular socks (mainly men but some women), men’s underwear mainly large but some medium
