Mission Appeal (Aug. 3-4)

Updated: Aug 6, 2019

Fr. Greg Serwa, SAC, a priest incardinated in the Pallottine Fathers and Brothers, will be presenting a Mission Appeal the weekend of August 3-4 at St. Mark’s.

Missions run by the Pallottines help the poor, the sick, and the needy through various programs around the world. These missions run boarding schools, organize women for self-employment programs, run clinics and more. Their mission extends around the globe, from battling poverty in Northeastern India to ministering to communities ravaged by HIV and AIDS in Zambia, and

more. Beyond this, these missions bring the Gospel to those thirsting for the Word of God.

In developed areas, the Pallottines concentrate on lay apostotlate, which endeavors to inspire, motivate, and encourage the laity to be active in the life and mission of

the Church.
