Parish Mercy Morning (May 11)

J O I N  S T . M A R K ’ S  A N D  M E R C Y  W O R K S  F OR

Practice the works of mercy with other members of the St. Mark’s family! We’ll

be visiting Episcopal Homes residents, serving at various shelters, supporting

the Abria Fun-Run, packing snack-bags on-site at St. Mark’s, and more!


We’re also asking for donations of the following items for the snack bags:

granola bars, baked snack chips, whole grain and/or baked snack crackers, applesauce cups, Jell-O cups, box 100% juice, dried fruits, packaged fruit snacks

Bring to the food shelf area in the vestibule, or the morning of!


SCHEDULE

8am—Mass

8:30-8:45am—Send-off

9-11AM—Serving at sites

11:30-12:30pm—Lunch and

reflection

St. Mark’s On-site projects with Catholic Charities

Location: St. Mark’s

Building various care packages for shelter guests

All ages, especially families with small children

 

Higher Ground Saint Paul Shelter

Location: Downtown Saint Paul

Cleaning shelter rooms and preparing them for new guests

Ages 18+

 

Minneapolis Opportunity Center

Location: Downtown Minneapolis

Preparing and serving lunch for shelter guests

Ages 14+

 

Homeless Encampment Ministry

Location: Union Gospel Mission

Ministry of presence

Adults

 

Abria’s Life is Wonderful Fun Run

Location: Lake Harriet Bandshell Park

Supporting Abria Pregnancy Resources as a fun run volunteer

All ages

 

Project Home

Location: Project Home Shelter on Randolph

Serving and eating lunch with shelter guests

Adults and supervised youth 12 yrs. +

 

St. Kate’s/CSJ Food Access Hub

Location: Sisters of St. Joseph Campus on Randolph

Projects for food shelf garden

Adults and supervised youth 12 yrs. +

 

Episcopal Homes

Location: Episcopal Homes on University

Visiting residents for a “storytelling session”

All ages, especially families with children able to sit and chat
